Visiting Artist: Bob Mejer

 Bob Mejer working on his "Millikin Series", a suite of 12 monotypes that employ the use of multiple textures, shapes colors, and techniques within an overall structured approach to his compositions. This suite of prints was completed October, 2015. Bob has worked with monotypes and watercolors for over 35 years, and his work has been exhibited throughout the United States.

The subject matter is based upon an inquiry Martin sent out to Millkin faculty and students' response to: "What do you think are the biggest challenges that we, as a nation, a world, or a species face right now?"
Martin uses text that explore the way that language, thought, and information relate to contemporary culture and the creation of the self. His work can be found at www.martinbrief.com
